The Rochester Public Library is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop focused on college preparedness, led by Meg Martinson from Cider Hill Advising.
As a seasoned educator and coach, Meg Martinson brings a wealth of experience in academics and athletics to her role at Cider Hill Advising. Drawing on her expertise, Martinson will lead a workshop covering various aspects of the college application process.
The workshop, scheduled for November 6, 2024, at 6:00 pm, in the Community Room at the Rochester Public Library, will focus on essential topics such as what colleges seek in applicants, application timelines, building a school list, athletic recruiting, essay writing, financial considerations, standardized testing (SAT/ACT), and summer preparation strategies.
Martinson’s personalized approach to working with students ensures that their academic profiles are well-rounded and tailored to their abilities and interests. By guiding students through high school, she helps them identify schools that align with their needs and aspirations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the workshop.
