The Rochester Opera House is proud to present the timeless musical Fiddler on the Roof from July 12 through July 27.
Winner of nine Tony Awards, when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof, has become a cornerstone of musical theatre. Set in the small village of Anatevka, the story follows Tevye, a poor milkman, as he navigates the challenges of maintaining his Jewish traditions amidst the changing social landscape and growing anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia.
Fiddler on the Roof explores universal themes of tradition and family, resonating across boundaries of race, class, nationality, and religion. Audiences can expect a deeply moving experience filled with laughter, joy, and tears.
Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance. Tickets are available at www.rochesteroperahouse.com or by calling the Box Office at (603) 335-1992.
