Due to the rain on 10/17, the event has been rescheduled to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24th.
Rochester Main Street, in collaboration with Guyer Travel International, is pleased to host a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Garage at The Governor’s Inn, 74 Wakefield Street.
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian over the age of 21 for R-rated movies. I.D. is required for proof of age. Children under 6 years of age are not permitted into R-rated features at all.
According to organizers, participants are encouraged to dress up and join the callbacks throughout the film.
There is no cost to enter the event. Organizers are encouraging participants to consider supporting local restaurants before coming to the show, dress warm, and bring a blanket or chairs for comfort.
