The Granite State Choral Society will host its annual holiday “Shop ‘Til You Drop” craft fair on Saturday, November 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, located at 150 Wakefield Street, Rochester.
The fair features over 45 crafters showcasing artwork, games, essential oils, books, and more. Local artisans from Rochester, including Judith Welch with knitted and crocheted goods, Jody Cook with wooden signs, and Terri Kershow with leatherwork and jewelry, will be participating.
This year, GSCS will be offering chili, soups, and chowders for your dining pleasure, along with our renowned bake sale table filled with autumn favorites such as pies, muffins, breads, and cookies. We’ve done the baking for you, so you don’t have to! Don’t forget to visit our information table to learn more about our 49 years of singing in the Lilac City area.
Raffle tickets will be available to add to the fun. You won’t want to miss this craft fair!
The Granite State Choral Society is a non-auditioned community chorus dedicated to presenting high-quality choral performances, spanning a range of styles from classics to Broadway, and promoting the appreciation of choral arts. Our members come from all walks of life, aged 12 and up, and include both experienced singers and novices just discovering the joys of choral singing. Our membership extends to neighboring towns, and we meet every Sunday afternoon for practice in Rochester at the First Congregational Church. If you’re interested in joining the choir in 2024, you can find more information on our website at https://gschoralsociety.org/.
